Anti-microbal Applications with H2O2
Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidizer that can be utilized in many applications where traditional biocides such as bleach are used. USP Technologies has EPA registered grades of hydrogen peroxide that can be used for microbiological and biofouling control in process waters, air washing systems, recirculation and once-through water cooling towers. It can also be utilized in systems such as holding ponds and lagoons, including pasteurizer cooling water systems and industrial closed recirculating process water systems as well as packaging storage vessels.
Hydrogen peroxide is a "green" product with the only by-products being oxygen and water, making it desirable for facilities looking to eliminate chemicals such as bleach and non-oxidizing biocides. Registered concentrations available through USP Technologies are 27% and 50%.
